The Pera is easy to navigate as it’s housed on several floors in a former Victorian hotel. This is a newer museum on the Istanbul art scene, but its well-curated eclecticism and reasonable size has made it a favorite.

It houses some of the most beautiful and lavish examples of Islamic art anywhere in the world that is still in their original setting from the 15th Century.
